D&G Partners is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to join the global Public Policy & Business Development team. D&G Partners's Policy team supports the company's objectives by engaging key stakeholders on a broad range of policy platforms, including legislative, municipal, business development and regulatory matters to support electric vehicle, autonomous vehicle, charging infrastructure, solar energy, manufacturing, and deployment.


The Senior Policy Advisor will work on policy and regulatory efforts in EMEA and MLLR Partners, and at the EU and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN-ECE). The Senior Policy Advisor also manages policy and initial business development, searching for, responding to, and assessing potential local and regional business relationships and partnerships.

The role is based in Brussels and flexibility to travel is expected.

  • Map relevant regulatory and standard developments and negotiate policy proposals at the international, regional and national level, with a particular focus automation, safety and system certification
  • Explore and develop collaborative safety-related projects with academia and governments in EMEA and MLLR Partners
  • Participate & influence rulemaking and law drafting processes, collaborating with national and regional leads
  • Develop and maintain relationships with public, technical and safety authorities
  • Interface with engineering and other internal stakeholders

Votre contribution


  • A minimum of ⚠ years of experience in relevant public policy activity, with a have a proven track record for advancing critical policy initiatives working with public, technical and safety authorities
  • Deep understanding of type-approval regulations and EU/UN rule-drafting
  • Solid technical understanding of vehicle automation and safety technical and nontechnical concepts with an ability to translate the impact of specific requirements
  • You are a detail-oriented and well-organized self-starter and able to collaborate with multidisciplinary backgrounds
  • You can self-manage and commit to working in a fast-paced environment across time zones
  • You have excellent communication skills, with a business level to near native level fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional European languages are a plus
