mateco holding is a leading company specialized in providing solutions in the field of industrial equipment and machinery. With an area-wide network of depots all over Europe and an increasing network in Latin America, the company has with its specialized logistics special equipment available all over the world. The company belonged to the TVH Group until 2020 and since 2021 mateco has been running up all rental and sales activities under its own independent 100% family owned company. Currently we are looking for a CIO .

Position:

• Develop and enhance the IT strategy together with the mateco management team to ensure that appropriate architecture, software, systems, processes and organization are in place to support the current and anticipated growth of mateco.
• Be responsible for the management of the different IT departments: Product Development, Architecture and Technology, Infrastructure & Operations and ePMO. Manage the continued roll-out and maintenance of standard technologies and processes as well as managing security. This with a strong focus on the further roll-out and optimization of the new Q.one platform (ERP Dynamics 365 and own developed applications).
• Further build on the pillars of the IT strategy: One Delivery Organization, One Demand Organization and One IT Architecture.
• Develop and maintain an appropriate organizational structure by assessing, developing, retaining, and recruiting IT talent. Organize and manage the IT team, governance, and activities by ensuring proper planification of IT resources to answer business needs.
• Report to the CFO of the group. The IT organization has been embedded into a separate company, mateco Belgium, managed by the CIO.

Jouw profiel

• You combine a master’s degree and have a proven track record as an IT Manager / CIO.
• Based on your personality and your technical knowledge you are a trusted sparring partner.
• You have strong leadership skills and are a critical challenger for your team. You are change oriented and have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and maintain alignment with the business strategy.
• You have strong business acumen.
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• You work from the mateco office in Waregem and are flexible for international travel (20%).

• De strategie en de oriëntatie van de informatie- en telecomsystemen van een organisatie bepalen (evolutie, organisatie, ...)
• De operationele werkleiding superviseren (coördinatie, communicatie, ...)
• De technische, economische, … informatie en de reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
• De uitvoeringswijze kiezen (intern of in onderaanneming)
  De conformiteit van de uitvoering controleren
• De technologische evolutie van de informatie- en telecomsystemen opvolgen
  Technische oplossingen voorstellen
• Het globale budget van de organisatie, de dienst of het project beheren (investering, bestemming, verdeling, ...)
• Opvolgen van de functionele en technische architectuurstudies van de informatiesystemen
• Een dienst of een organisatie leiden
• Behoeften van de onderneming of gebruikers op het vlak van organisatie en informatie- en telecomsystemen analyseren en bepalen
• De kwaliteits- en beveiligingsprocedures van de informatie- en telecomsystemen bepalen en de toepassing ervan controleren
