Function:

In order to strengthen and protect our position as market leader and support further expansion and growth strategies, we are looking for an Environmental & Product Compliance Engineer.

Reporting to the Director of the European Service Department , you will be responsible for environmental & product compliance related topics linked to the sales of car infotainment products.

Key activities include focusing on the development and execution of activities within the strategic framework that has been set in place, and for which you will contribute.

The Environmental & Product Compliance Engineer responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

1. Review the provided documents whether they contain all the details necessary to demonstrate the product conforms to the applicable requirements. (ex. Technical documentation).

2. Issuing of EU & UK Declarations of conformity for products, packaging, and batteries used for the products by using software tools and upload them in company databases.

3. Preparing Environmental Reports in SAP system.

4. In case it is needed, analyse laws and regulations with regard to Environmental & Product Compliance (Chemicals, Waste, Ecodesign, RED, LVD, EMC, etc.) .

5. Support during investigation of National Deviations (EU & UK National Deviations).

6. Follow up tasks related to out-out and car installation parts business for product compliance/environmental issues (EU/UK).

7. Classify and store the documents in the company databases.

8. Work closely with Environmental Compliance Supervisor and Product Compliance Supervisor and the Pioneer Group.

Profile

- Bachelor’s degree

- Interest in Automotive/ Consumer Electronicsindustry

- Good knowledge of English (preferable also Dutch). Other languages are a plus

- Good knowledge of MS office (MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access)

- Plan, organize and achieve deadlines are your strength
