Your tasks

• Administration of the existing high-availability virtualization platforms for servers (VMWare), storage (EMC²) and desktops worldwide
• Responsible for the backup (Avamar, Networtker, CyberProtect and CyberSense)
• Operational management of projects relating to automation, centralization of the IT landscape and setting standards
• Analyzing and solving problems as well as further developing the areas of IT infrastructure and security
• Documentation of technical implementations, architectures and processes
• Responsible for IT purchasing

Your profile

• Degree in computer science or vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the areas of Windows Server, AD, Azure and VMWare
• Knowledge of backup strategies and technologies
• Knowledge of IT security and securing critical IT systems (e.g. firewall, MFA)
• High level of problem-solving skills, internal customer orientation and commitment
