Logistic & Procurement Team Leader

Functie

As a Logistic & Procurement Team leader , you will :

Material & Logistic

  • Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of finished products and parts including warehousing and delivery services to ensure availability and delivery when needed to meet the customer demands.
  • Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products
  • Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of parts and/or finished good

Procurement

  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to organization policy, and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds
  • Coordinates the preparation and processing of requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software or components
  • Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends and supplier technology road maps
  • Selects external suppliers (carriers, poles, …)

Team Leader

  • Set the objectives & priorities of the team
  • Coordinates and manages the allocation of resources (e.g., people, equipment) to deliver timely results
  • Coordinates the development and implementation of processes and procedures for the department in order to boost efficiency, and lead special projects on an ad hoc basis (with sales support manager alignment)
  • Leads, develop and motivate the employees within the department.
  • Implement SLA with the external Warehouse

Jouw profiel

Skills Requested

  • Bachelor's degree in commercial studies, or relevant field
  • From 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience within a project-driven organization (interaction with multiple stakeholders)
  • Demonstrably commercially driven
  • Interest in topics such as IoT or related technical solutions
  • Good command of Dutch, French and English.
  • Good communication skills, assertively and good self-confidence
  • Punctual and energetic.

  • De implementatie en realisatie van logistieke actieplannen opvolgen en de uitvoering controleren
  • De activiteiten van een team coördineren
    Een organisatie leiden
  • Een systeem implementeren voor het beheer van de logistieke stromen voor: Aankoop
  • Coördineren en organiseren van de informatiedoorstroming en de werkinstructies van de organisatie
  • Stuurinstrumenten ontwikkelen voor aankoop-, bevoorradings- of verzenddiensten en locaties (platformen, opslagplaatsen, ...)
  • De modaliteiten voor het transport van producten organiseren, implementeren en de uitvoering controleren
