WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In the IT User Support functional area of the Data Processing department at our head office in Kassel, we are looking to fill the position of

IT EMPLOYEE / IT EMPLOYEE (m/f/d)


IT USER SUPPORT

to be filled on a full-time or part-time basis.

Your tasks:

  • Contribute to the conceptual development and optimization of IT user support
  • Ensuring the operational readiness of the hotline and user support
  • Independent processing of reported problems
  • Advice and support for users (m/f/d)
  • Processing technical matters and installing and maintaining hardware and software
  • Consulting, procurement, support and training for video hardware and video software
  • Support for telecommunications devices and user maintenance in the corresponding databases
  • Implementation of presentation and training events
  • Processing IT contract matters and general administrative tasks

The hotline (part of user support) works in a day shift model between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. (or until 3:30 p.m. on Fridays). It should be noted that early and late shifts are also required when working in the "hotline team"

We require the following:

Completed computer science-oriented studies at a university of applied sciences or completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or comparable qualification with many years of practical application in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility

We expect the following from you:

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments (including Windows 10; Office 2021; Active Directory etc.)
  • Knowledge and practical application in the field of user support (first and second level)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the procurement, consulting and support of video hardware and video software
  • Knowledge of conducting training courses on the use of video hardware and video software
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Cooperation and teamwork skills
  • Communication skills and target group orientation
  • Sense of responsibility
  • Very good written and spoken German (language level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Willingness for further education and training
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours
