Junior Purchaser

Functie

For the Purchasing department, we are looking for a junior buyer to complete the team.

  • You are responsible for delivering the right parts on time at the best price by following all internal procedures.
  • On a daily basis, you evaluate the internal demand for parts needed for maintenance on the helicopters.
  • You request quotes from different suppliers , negotiate prices and lead times, and you constantly look for the fastest and most cost-effective solution.
  • You are the point of contact for all orders, both for the technical department and the suppliers.
  • You ensure that all information is entered accurately into the system and proactively follow up all deliveries so that everything is delivered on time.
  • After a period of 3 months, you are prepared to be available from home every 5 weeks at weekends and after office hours for urgent calls for documents.
  • You will be the key liaison between NHV and suppliers.

Your office is located in Ostend.

Jouw profiel

  • You live within a 40-minute drive radius of NHV.
  • Bachelor's degree or similar through experience.
  • You have a very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of Dutch and French.
  • You have experience with an ERP system (Navision, SAP) and can work with Excel.
  • You have experience as an administrative assistant. Experience in a purchase department or commercial inside sales is a plus.
  • You will be working in a technical environment. An interest in helicopter maintenance and parts is therefore important.
  • You work meticulously and have an analytical mind.
  • You are stress-resistant and eager to learn.
  • De uitvoering van de aankoopcontracten tot aan de betaling opvolgen (hoeveelheid, kwaliteit, leveringstermijnen, ...)
  • De leveranciers en producten evalueren (audits, tevredenheidsenquêtes, staalname, ...) en verbeteringen voorstellen
  • De bevoorradingsbehoeften van de onderneming identificeren en de markt van de leveranciers en producten prospecteren of analyseren
  • Prijzen en leveringstermijnen van producten onderhandelen met de leveranciers
  • Opvolggegevens van aankopen registreren en het jaarverslag opstellen
  • Inschrijvingen op de aanbestedingen analyseren en evalueren of de leveranciers aan de vraag kunnen voldoen
  • Gegevens actualiseren (markttendensen, nieuwe producten, referenties van de leveranciers, ...)
