The Trade Marketing Executive role will lead our Trade Marketing and Brand Marketing strategy in collaboration with our Distribution Partner for selected European Countries (Poland, Greece, Cyprus and Portugal). Based in Leuven/Belgium, this position plays a critical role to ensure the success sfu l implementation of our brand strategies and promo activations in our indirect model route to market.

The role:

  • Support annual Joint Business Plan cycle with local distribution partners.

  • Define the necessary Trade Marketing Activations to execute our Brand Plans in the country.

  • Map all Brand Marketing possibilities and support the execution with our partner.

  • Create a strong communication flow to our key external and internal stakeholders and strong synergy with sales stakeholders: C&DG Link's Brand Managers, Sales Managers, Trade Marketing and local Customer partnerships.

  • Assistance to our distributors in regard to Trade Marketing Management: Allocation and reporting of trade investment, co- development with other regions, trade marketing KPI's (tracking and reporting), POC segmentation and POCM distribution.

  • Work closely with Trade and Brand Zone teams to map news opportunities: Innovations, Consumer Experiences, Best Practices and Optimizations.

  • Execution KPIs: Orient and collaborate with partner to ensure the tracking of our successful indicators, by having the right POCM, targeting the right channels for the POCM/Market Program initiative, and POC Excellence.

  • Translating Zone Brand Strategy into local market approach.

  • Support with Media Plan development and execution, both above the line and below the line, with particular focus on Consumer Experience.

  • Ensure that our partners follows our Brand Toolkits and Trade Marketing guidelines to secure consistency and premium

    activations.

  • Guide the strategy and execution according to brand criteria, support our partner's team and monitor/report performance against success metrics.

Capabilities:

  • Lead by influence and create strong collaboration with local stakeholders.

  • Design, development and implementation of our trade marketing strategy plans in line with global jobs to be done.

  • Responsible to provide strategic trade guidance based on opportunities/gaps in the region.

  • Address our annual game plan with trade marketing solutions and guidelines.

  • Provide bottom-up visibility to our stakeholders by a clear reporting routine (budget and KPIs).

  • Responsible to achieve our trade marketing KPIs.

  • Design strategic plans for: Product launch, marketing innovation, product renovation and portfolio extension.

  • Implementation of our global brand campaigns in local markets.

  • Manage and create a network with local vendors to create new opportunities to reach more consumers

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor/Graduate degree - Business degree in related marketing or commercial is a plus.

  • Minimum of ⚠ years previous experience in FMCG industry.

  • Expected previous experience in Sales, Trade Marketing or Marketing.

  • Fluent speaking English (working environment will be English).

  • Previous experience managing budget (planning, tracking, decision making and reporting).

  • Skilled story telling: Presentation and business cases assessments.

  • Ability to understand and visualize business opportunities and translate into action.

  • Organizational skills and ability to plan the workload effectively in order to meet the target and deadlines.

  • Dealing with ambiguity and react to unforeseen opportunities.

  • Able to stablish process and create new routines.

  • The candidate should be able to develop a strong communication flow with stakeholders and build a network among colleagues

  • Tests, enquêtes en observaties verzamelen over een product, een dienst, een merk, gebruiken of gedragingen
