The Regional Church Office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover is seeking to fill a permanent, part-time position in Division ⚠ (Information Technology) at the earliest possible date.

to be filled. The regional church office operates IT systems for the regional church office and other church institutions as well as central IT services for the entire regional church. As a result, Unit ⚠ at the regional church office provides ⚠st-level support for the office itself and ⚠nd-level support for other church offices and institutions. It designs the management of the clients within the framework of central services, whether used directly in the regional church office or in an administratively decentralized responsibility. The services offered should take into account the entire life cycle, from procurement and operation to migration and disposal.

The tasks include, among others:

  • Head of IT support and client management, responsible for the help desk
  • Design and implementation of a central, church-wide service client management system
    • Focus on Windows workstations with software distribution
    • Mobile device management for smartphones and tablets
    • Multi-client capability for administration by church offices
    • Coordination terminal server for legacy / central applications
  • Observance and documentation of IT security, data protection, co-determination; backup and emergency concept
  • Training of administrators and administrators

We expect:

  • Completed Master's degree or university diploma in computer science or related subject with a computer science focus or equivalent skills and experience acquired in practice
  • Experience with software distribution and IT support for users
  • ITIL knowledge in incident management
  • Experience as a specialist manager or project manager
  • the ability to organize yourself and your own work effectively
  • Communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Desirable: knowledge of church organizational structures
