The "Analytics Platform Engineering & Management" unit is part of the "Analytics Services & Technologies" division. This unit is responsible for the design, implementation and operation of products and applications for data analysis and visualization using modern data management and analytics technologies.

Work of particular value: your work with us

• As part of our team for the further development and operation of our data and analytics platforms, you will be responsible for their design, implementation, administration, operation, maintenance and ⚠nd/⚠rd level support
• You will be involved in projects to further expand the technical basis and infrastructure, ensure that they are scaled to meet requirements and take into account the latest technologies (physical and/or virtualized/containerized platforms)
• You will also work on the application development of data pipelines, establish CI/CD structures and help to ensure that procedures for automating and supporting the platforms are in place

Special values: Your qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in (business) computer science or comparable degree program with a focus on information technology or comparable knowledge from many years of professional experience
• Good knowledge and several years of experience in the IT environment, ideally with Unix and Linux operating systems, system administration and application integration
• Knowledge of setting up and administering a complex server environment, including automated installation and commissioning
• Sound knowledge of networks, network security, secure data transmission and authorization concepts (e.g. DNS, AD, Kerberos, encryption) as well as system virtualization, system automation and system tools (scripting, Ansible, Git, etc.)
• Knowledge of distributed big data and database systems and associated components
• Sound practical knowledge of agile project methods (SCRUM and Kanban)
• Good analytical and conceptual skills paired with a high degree of teamwork as well as service and customer orientation
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
