IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

The Security and Monitoring team is responsible for monitoring the technicians' IT systems. This includes recording, evaluating and visualizing performance and log data. The team also includes the Security Operations Center (SOC), which monitors, analyzes and processes IT security incidents.

Your tasks

• Operate and further develop the SIEM and MRTN Connect platform
• Integrate new data and log sources into the SIEM, check them regularly and document them
• Create and further develop rules and use cases in the SIEM
• Develop holistic mechanisms to detect IT threats and adopt preventive measures
• Continuously optimize processes to increase the security of IT systems and detect threats at an early stage

Your profile

• A degree in computer science or comparable technical training, ideally with a focus on IT/IT security
• Several years of experience in the administration and operation of SIEM, MRTN Connect and log management systems
• In-depth expertise in analyzing technical vulnerabilities and protective measures as well as network security
• Experience in the field of IT security, ideally in the area of SOC analysis/incident response
• Excellent written and spoken German (C⚠)
• A structured way of working and a high sense of responsibility
