PEDAGOGICAL QUALITY ADVISOR/INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER (H/F/X)

We are looking for a : Pedagogical Quality Advisor/Instructional Designer - Distance Learning Department
Permanent contract, full-time position based in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium (possibility of occasional teleworking).

General Objective
Under the supervision of the Distance Learning Department Manager and the Project Manager, the Pedagogical Quality Advisor/Instructional Designer plays a role in the overall pedagogical vision and development of the department. He/she is responsible for ensuring that the overall delivery of the live lessons and autonomous content is of a high-standing quality as described in the CLL Quality Charter, and participates actively in maintaining and developing our Learning Content Management System (LCMS). His/her global tasks consist also in having a global vision of the department to ensure long term objectives are reached.
Job Description
The Pedagogical Quality Advisor/Instructional Designer is responsible for:
Collaborating with the Department Manager and Project Manager to define the pedagogical approach to teaching companies, adults, kids and teens and to ensure its proper implementation.Overseeing and recruiting prospective language trainers across all languages taught on the platforms.Onboarding, briefing, and setting expectations for the language trainers in the performance of their tasks. This includes lesson observations and the ability to communicate feedback effectively to trainers with a variety of cultural backgrounds.Collaborating with the Sales & Account Executives and the trainers to coordinate the organisation of language courses intended for adult learners (individuals and/or companies).Developing and maintaining the LCMS developed by CLL. This includes the design and development of language courses and content both synchronously and asynchronously (blended).Creating and organising asynchronous training modules for staff, trainers, and learners via the LCMS.Participating in ongoing filming, scriptwriting, development and quality control of video modules that will be implemented via the CLL LCMS and disseminated to staff, trainers, and learners.Keeping abreast of digital educational innovation in the language training sector, suggesting innovative features for the Distance Learning Department and participating in their implementation.Ensuring that all communication materials including (but not limited to): User Guides, Social Media, Public Website content, Press Releases, and Support FAQ responses, are validated following the CLL's quality assurance process.Fostering and developing positive ongoing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.Adding your skills to the projects managed by the CLL Pedagogical Expertise Group .
Your Profile
You hold a graduate degree in languages. Master's degree or equivalent in an area of digital education is preferable.
You are fluent in English and French and/or Dutch (C1 or higher).
You have a minimum of 5 years professional experience as a language trainer or a pedagogical supervisor role.
You can work independently as well as in a team.
You have proven experience working in the online or digital environment.
You have proven experience in the creation and quality control of language learning programmes.
You are keen on new technologies and have experience using them in the classroom.
You have an excellent understanding of the implementation and use of Learning Management Systems.
You appreciate challenges, have good communication skills and are proactive, assertive, creative, and determined. You are motivated by the success of your professional goals.
You are results oriented and put your language and teaching skills to use in order to achieve your goals
You can manage multiple projects at once and prioritise your tasks effectively.
