To lead our purchasing team, located both in Belgium and Romania, we are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager, located out of Kampenhout Belgium.

You will be responsible for:

· Coordination and administration of procurement activities of materials and components necessary to organize production.

· Elaborate and implement internal and external supplier relationship plan.

· Setting up an evolving negotiation plan focusing on getting market conform prices and conditions for the components.

· Execute contracts and follow-up delivery in local systems, approves purchasing from local systems according to purchasing plan.

· Manage the weekly MRP and shortages.

· Periodically reports status of supplier relationship, supply risks and supplier performance.

· Finetune responsibilities and duties for a team of 10 buyers, assist them in the daily operations.

· Monitoring stock

You will report to the chief procurement officer.

You are our missing link when you recognize yourself in the following:

· You are a seasoned purchase manager, preferably in a technical field

· You have technical knowledge and understanding of electricity components and cabling

· You have a University Bachelor’s Degree;

· Experience with ERP

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset;

· Excellent organizational skills and sets priorities easily;

· “Customer” focus and the ability to cope with the pressure of meeting demanding targets and working towards tight deadlines;

· Analytical mindset with an eye for detail;

  Technische ondersteuning bieden aan de aankoopdienst
• Toezicht houden op de selectie van leveranciers en het toewijzen van opdrachten
• Professionele informatie en reglementering opvolgen en actualiseren
• Het strategisch beleid van een organisatie bepalen of helpen bepalen (investeringen, uitrustingen, specialisatie, ...)
• Het budget van een organisatie bepalen en opvolgen
• De modaliteiten voor de opvolging van de leveranciers zodanig opstellen dat ontwikkeltrajecten kunnen worden voorgesteld
• De activiteiten van een dienst coördineren en acties ter ondersteuning van het personeelsbeheer uitvoeren (aanwerving, opleiding, ...)
