IT specialist (m/f/d) for the IT control center

(open-ended)

The Bavarian Administrative Court, with its seat in Munich and external senates in Ansbach, is the highest administrative court in Bavaria and the court of appeal for the six Bavarian administrative courts.

The administrative jurisdiction ensures constitutionally guaranteed legal protection and thus the legality of state action. It encompasses many professions and fields of activity and therefore offers a wide range of development opportunities.

The IT Control Center is responsible for the use and further development of electronic data processing at the Bavarian Administrative Court and the six administrative courts as well as the Bavarian State Prosecutor's Office.

Place of work:

  • Munich or Ansbach

Willingness to travel to support the other location is required.

Your main tasks:

  • Coordination and support of the information and communication technology (ICT) departments of the Bavarian Administrative Courts and the Bavarian Administrative Court for technical and commercial issues
  • Collaboration in the introduction of the electronic court file and the integration of the corresponding components of electronic legal transactions
  • Preparation of the budget for all hardware and software procurements in the Bavarian administrative jurisdiction
  • Procurement and approval of software and hardware as well as IT controlling
  • Implementation of and participation in cross-court and cross-state working groups for the further development of the IT infrastructure

Your qualification:

  • Successfully completed studies (Bachelor / Diploma [FH] or vocational academy) as an administrative computer scientist (m/f/d) or computer scientist (m/f/d) or a comparable course of study
  • Successfully completed IT vocational training, e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's graduates in the field of business informatics and computer science are very welcome

We expect:

  • Sound knowledge of the Windows environment (client-server environments) and basic database knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of basic protocols at network and application level (e.g. TCP / IP, DNS, SIP)
  • Project management experience
  • Commitment, organizational talent, ability to work in a team and willingness to serve
  • Communication skills and the ability to solve problems independently
  • Good powers of abstraction, results-oriented, independent and responsible working style
  • Willingness to travel on business
  • Good written and spoken German language skills (German language skills at least at level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) (see

Payment is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), with appropriate qualifications up to pay group 12 or with salary up to pay group A 12 BayBesG.
