Functie

Purpose of the job:

Provides leadership and guidance to a team of Product Managers located in France and in Germany. Defines the market position of a product or brand within the context of the overall product strategy, by conducting competitor analysis, market research, working with the sales team, and driving marketing initiatives to support product or brand awareness and sales.

Responsible for bringing the product to market, driving adoption, and equipping the sales team with the knowledge and tools to be successful.


Main Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the launch of new products in the Orthodontists & Digital portfolio.
You manage portfolio and products, by monitoring all aspects of a product life cycle, including long- and short-term development. You contribute to new product creation through voice of customer collection.
Leadership and Direction: You create and communicate local action plans; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
Brand Strategy and Effectiveness: You manage brand(s) and coordinate brand support activities.
In your interface function you maintain a constant exchange of information with all departments relevant to the company, in particular Sales, Marketing, Training & Education and R&D.
You create a network of opinion leaders and influential end-users by organizing and attending field-related events.
You create continuous education programs to support the development of your portfolios.
Together with the VP Sales, you deliver a budget regarding your area of the organization.

Jouw profiel

Requirements:

Master's Degree, Dental educational background, or Equivalent Level through experience in dental industry (orthodontics field is a plus)
Substantial general work experience (6 – 10 years) together with comprehensive job-related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level
Experience of 1 – 3 years in supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
Knowledge in regulatory / quality management related to medical devices and MDR requirement
Good planning abilities, organizational savvy
Customer and market analysis
Strong communication skills
A good command of English is required. German and/ or French is a plus
Willingness to work from the office in Leuven, Belgium
Willingness to travel (min. 30% of time)
