Functie

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and expanding international company? We are actively seeking a Procurement Officer to join our client’s team in Leuven.

Responsibilities:
From creation to follow-up, ensuring seamless procurement processes.
Lead negotiations with suppliers for goods and services, striving for the best terms and conditions.
Identify and execute opportunities for savings while enhancing service levels.
Take charge of inventory and back-order management for the assigned portfolio.
Ensure alignment with Sales and Customer Service departments regarding forecasts.
Lead national and international supplier relationships, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide insights into market trends and conduct benchmarking studies.
Responsible for onboarding new suppliers.
Support the procurement organization in further optimizing and implementing a world-class purchasing department.

Jouw profiel

SAP Experience Preferred.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills are a must.
Leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport, develop relationships, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills in English are required; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • De leveranciers en producten evalueren (audits, tevredenheidsenquêtes, staalname, ...) en verbeteringen voorstellen
  • Prijzen en leveringstermijnen van producten onderhandelen met de leveranciers
  • De bevoorradingsbehoeften van de onderneming identificeren en de markt van de leveranciers en producten prospecteren of analyseren
  • Aanbestedingen of lastenboeken voor leveranciers of dienstverleners opstellen
  • Opvolggegevens van aankopen registreren en het jaarverslag opstellen
  • Gegevens actualiseren (markttendensen, nieuwe producten, referenties van de leveranciers, ...)
  • Geschillendossiers behandelen (oplossing van geschillen, behandeling van klachten, ...)
  • Inschrijvingen op de aanbestedingen analyseren en evalueren of de leveranciers aan de vraag kunnen voldoen
  • De aankoopstrategie van een onderneming uitwerken of verder uitbouwen
  • De uitvoering van de aankoopcontracten tot aan de betaling opvolgen (hoeveelheid, kwaliteit, leveringstermijnen, ...)
