To keep our operation running smoothly, we are looking for a Financial Controller to further support our Finance team in reporting and analyses. Do we welcome you soon?

WILL YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?

• Directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support our Research teams in managing their projects by providing guidance on economic/financial aspects of their projects: follow-up on profit and profitability, analyzing the deviations between budget and actuals, and invoicing to our clients.
• Moreover, you support the preparation of the Best Estimates & Budget processes regarding sales, gross margins and GENEX (General Expenses). In addition, you prepare the analysis and reporting to our headquarter in Paris.
• Furthermore, you run ad hoc business analyses at the request of the Country Manager and senior management on headcount, timesheets and other relevant business KPIs. This helps in further optimizing our processes.
• You prepare the monthly and quarterly closing regarding the projects (e.g. accruals, jobs/projects assessment and follow-up).
• You are looking forward to sharing your financial experience and knowledge by providing training to our research teams on a periodic basis (e.g. on the introduction of new policies, the use of corporate financial tools, etc.).

Jouw profiel

• You can look back on a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience within a similar position. In addition, you have a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or a financial direction.
• You have extensive experience with ERP systems and Excel. You also possess strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You are energetic and approachable, and you like to work in team!
• Setting priorities, meeting deadlines and working with an eye for detail are your strengths.
• It goes without saying that you are an administrative jack-of-all-trades and that you work accurately, even when deadlines are tight.
• You are a good communicator and you can express yourself in English and Dutch or French .
