Tasks

  • You define and further develop the IT Digital Workplace strategy, taking into account the corporate and digital strategy, the long-term transformation projects and the specifications of relevant stakeholders (in particular the functional PO Digital Workplace).
  • You agree and implement methods, best practices and tool support together with the specialist departments to continuously improve the IT-side ergonomics, usability, availability and security / protection of our office workplaces including the underlying processes.
  • Operational assurance of cost-efficient and user-oriented (effective) workplace design and governance as well as responsibility for implementation and investment planning are also part of your area of responsibility. You will make make-or-buy decisions and define operating concepts for the IT applications and infrastructure (computers and clients, M365, telco software and infrastructure, printers, collaboration tools, intranet and the IT field service). You will also integrate relevant investment and project planning into the corresponding IT governance processes of enercity AG.
  • You are responsible for building, developing and leading a powerful department according to the requirements of the management persona. You will establish a positive working environment and culture that takes into account the achievement of work results and employee motivation in equal measure. You will also promote company-wide collaboration with other departments to facilitate and improve cross-functional data management.
  • You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and reporting of a regular controlling system to monitor the success of the implementation of the enercity AG workplace strategy, the initiated projects and/or improvement measures (together with the functional PO). You will develop KPIs and metrics to monitor the performance, quality and availability of workplace-related applications and IT infrastructure. The development and ongoing optimization of an operating model to sharpen the cooperation / division of labor with the requesting departments are also part of your range of tasks.
  • Ensuring that employees in the team - but also all enercity users - are optimally trained & trained with regard to the service portfolio of the digital workplace (computers or clients, M365, telco software and infrastructure, printers, collaboration tools, intranet and the IT field service) round off your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • You have a Master's degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications and training.
  • You have several years of experience in leading teams and in the development and successful implementation of strategies related to the digital workplace
  • You also have several years of proven leadership experience with disciplinary responsibility for a team.
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead teams and communicate a clear vision for the digital workplace.
  • You have a high degree of initiative, a sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and decision-making skills
  • You are a team player with a reliable way of working and very good, active communication skills in a demanding work environment, also in English if required. You have an inspiring personality and are able to harmonize the needs of different stakeholders You have the inner mindset that lifelong learning and the willingness to self-reflect are a natural part of the leadership role.

You are responsible for the development, management and leadership of the "Workplace Solutions" department.

This also includes the further development and implementation of the enercity Digital Workplace strategy including program / project responsibility for related projects. This includes the responsible control of topic-related change management as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the implemented IT application landscape and digital solutions over the entire life cycle (from project / introduction to operation including IT security to replacement / phasing out).
