Tasks

• You are responsible for the planning, prioritization and implementation of the IT project portfolio including the underlying IT demand and project portfolio process.
• You ensure effective resource management and the successful implementation of IT projects You agree and implement methods, best practices and tool support for the continuous improvement of the relevant IT demand, project, controlling and project portfolio processes.
• You set up strategy controlling to monitor the success of the implementation of the digital strategy You will monitor the IT budget, ensure the ongoing implementation of budget and planning analyses, definition of relevant reporting and processes for risk management.
• You establish the strategic framework to ensure effective license and supplier management
• Building, developing and leading an effective team according to the requirements of the management persona is also part of your range of tasks. You will establish a positive working environment and culture that takes into account the achievement of work results and employee motivation in equal measure. You promote company-wide collaboration with other departments in order to significantly improve implementation strength and project throughput in the long term.
• Your responsibilities also include the definition, further development and communication of a corresponding solution portfolio for the area as an offer for the enercity departments and stakeholders / governance bodies. You are responsible for the development and ongoing optimization of an operating model to sharpen the cooperation / division of labor with the specialist departments and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring that employees are optimally trained and educated across the company with regard to IT demand, project, controlling and project portfolio processes rounds off your range of tasks.

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification and training.
• You have several years of experience in managing PMOs as well as in the development and successful implementation of strategies related to IT demand, project and portfolio management.
• You can demonstrate several years of management experience with disciplinary responsibility for a team
• You have very good knowledge of both classic and agile project management methods You have practical experience and methodological expertise in project and quality management, PMO and change management.
• You have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead teams and communicate a clear vision for the strategic and operational management of all IT activities at enercity.
• You have a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and decision-making skills. You have cross-divisional thinking and action as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working. You are a team player with a reliable way of working and very good, active communication skills in a demanding work environment, also in English if required.
• You have an inspiring personality and are able to harmonize the needs of different stakeholders You have the inner mindset that lifelong learning and the willingness to self-reflect are a natural part of the leadership role.

At a glance:

You are responsible for the development, management and leadership of the "IT Office" department.

With strategic vision, you are responsible for the introduction and further development of enercity project management in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and working methods of the future. You will ensure a holistic overview of the current project portfolio and corresponding resource requirements as well as overarching project prioritization. You will also be responsible for making project and portfolio decisions up to Management Board level.

You will be responsible for developing a catalog of PMO services and the associated stakeholder & change management. You will also ensure that the entire business IT (departmental IT and central IT) is developed in line with targets and strategy via efficient IT demand, license and supplier management.
