Tasks

  • You are responsible for the further development of the company-wide IT target architecture (enterprise / solution architecture). This includes the overarching management of the survey of the IT application portfolios in the specialist IT departments and central IT, the creation of IT target development plans based on this, the creation of transformation plans for the optimization, modernization and adaptation of the enercity-wide IT landscape.
  • You make decisions on the further development of the IT target architecture up to Management Board level You ensure the integration capability / interfaces of the EAM, including in business process and information security management.
  • You are responsible for the development, maintenance and reporting of IT architecture controlling to monitor the success of the implementation or transformation of the enercity IT target architecture. The consolidated planning and monitoring of the corresponding IT budgets, ensuring the ongoing implementation of budget and planning analyses as well as the definition of relevant reporting and processes for risk management are also part of your range of tasks.
  • You take on the role of lead architect and are responsible for setting up, developing and leading a powerful team of enterprise IT architects in line with the requirements of the management team.
  • You will establish a positive working environment and culture that takes into account the achievement of work results and employee motivation in equal measure. You promote company-wide collaboration with other departments in order to sustainably improve implementation strength and architectural conformity.
  • Your tasks will include defining, developing and communicating the relevant processes for requirements management in the specialist departments to further develop the IT target architecture. In addition, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing optimization of an operating model including relevant governance bodies to sharpen cooperation / division of labor with the specialist departments and relevant stakeholders. This also includes ensuring compliance and integrity with IT security requirements and IT demand and project portfolio management.
  • Ensuring that employees are optimally trained and educated in the use of the EAM toolset and the execution of corresponding maintenance processes across the company rounds off your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification and training.
  • You have several years of experience in the disciplinary management of a team of enterprise IT architects and can demonstrate several years of experience as a lead architect.
  • You have very good knowledge of classic and agile project management methods as well as practical experience and methodological expertise in project, quality and change management.
  • You have strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead teams and communicate a clear vision for the strategic and operational EAM at enercity.
  • You have a high degree of initiative, a sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and decision-making skills.
  • You have cross-divisional thinking and action as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working.
  • You are a team player with a reliable way of working and very good, active communication skills in a demanding working environment, also in English if required.
  • You have an inspiring personality and are able to harmonize the needs of different stakeholders You have the inner mindset that lifelong learning and the willingness to self-reflect are a natural part of the leadership role.

In a nutshell:

You are responsible for the development, management and leadership of the "Enterprise Architecture Management" specialist area.

With strategic vision, you are responsible for the introduction, further development and defense of the enercity IT target architecture and Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM). You ensure a holistic overview of the software systems in use at enercity, including an overview of interfaces, corresponding application owners and processed / stored data. You make decisions on the further development of the IT target architecture up to Management Board level. You ensure that the EAM can be integrated into business process and information security management, among other things. You are responsible for developing relevant EAM maintenance processes and for the associated stakeholder & change management.
