Tasks

• You will define and develop the enercity Business Process Management (BPM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) strategy, taking into account the corporate and digital strategy as well as the long-term transformation projects.
• You are responsible for and implement appropriate governance mechanisms, methods, best practices and tool support together with the specialist departments for the continuous improvement of business and IT service processes.
• You identify improvement and automation opportunities within the business units and IT, e.g. using the possibilities of process mining, process analytics and low-code platforms.
• You will be responsible for major projects in the field of BPM and process automation from planning to implementation, including budget monitoring. You will also ensure that projects are completed within the specified time and resource frameworks.
• The establishment, further development and management of a powerful department according to the requirements of the management persona are also part of your range of tasks. Furthermore, this includes establishing a positive working environment and culture that takes into account the achievement of work results and employee motivation in equal measure. You will also promote company-wide collaboration with other departments to facilitate process improvements.
• You define and further develop a corresponding solution portfolio for the area as an offer for the enercity departments. You are responsible for the development and ongoing optimization of an operating model to sharpen the cooperation / division of labor with process management in the specialist areas. This also includes the ongoing optimization of IT service processes in the interaction of 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support and improvement of our ITSM and monitoring tools. You define and monitor service levels for our IT processes.
• Communicating the ITSM & BPM strategy and nomenclature as well as the implementation progress at all levels of the company and to all stakeholders rounds off your area of responsibility. You will ensure that employees are optimally trained and educated across the company with regard to process management and automation concepts.

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification and training.
• You have several years of experience in the development and successful implementation of strategies related to IT service management and business process management
• You can demonstrate several years of management experience with disciplinary responsibility for a team
• You also have very good knowledge of both traditional and agile project management methods. You have strong leadership and communication skills, which include the ability to motivate and lead teams and communicate a clear vision for IT service and business process transformation.
• You have a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, independent working and decision-making skills.
• You are a team player, with a reliable way of working and very good, active communication skills in a demanding work environment, also in English if required.
• You have an inspiring personality and are able to harmonize the needs of different stakeholders You have the inner mindset that lifelong learning and the willingness to self-reflect are a natural part of the leadership role.

In a nutshell:

You are responsible for setting up, managing and leading the Process Management department.

You develop and implement the BPM and ITSM strategy for enercity including program / project responsibility for related projects. Identifying potential improvements to current business and IT service processes and initiating the implementation of solutions for business process optimization, e.g. through automation technologies or the integration of data analysis tools, are also part of your range of tasks. Responsible control of topic-related change management and ensuring the smooth operation of the implemented IT application landscape and digital solutions are also included.
